I kept hoping those were actresses or models and weren't really contestants.

I was hoping that as well. Poor girls if they weren't.

LOL @ Nigel's "cat's bottom" statement, and the face that accompanied it. That was hilarious.

I kind of missed all the wackiness that occurs during the casting interviews. Did they say why they chose to jump right into the show wihtout doing their traditional picking of the contestants?

The girl with the baby voice I know she can't control her voice but I couldn't stand hearing it!

My early favorites are Britani, Mikaela and Nicole.

I was so hoping the freckle girl would be eliminated (her name escapes me right now). Her personality is awful. She totally blew the runway yet rolled her eyes when she didn't get first call out? Bish, please! But they did eliminate the right girl in the end.

Doesn't Mikaela remind anyone of last cycle's Esther?

So far I like Kasia (although they won't have another plus size winner, ever, I bet), Jaclyn (underneath all that hair is a model!), Alexandria and Brittai.

Now you know how I felt about Anya in the season with Whitney. Girl's voice drove me UP A WALL. (And yes, I know lots of Russians, and they don't all sound like that.)

Maybe since they announced the cast online they didn't feel like going through the whole "Oh, whom shall we choose?" rigmarole?

I was all prepared to watch and then brain freeze! I totally forgot and ended up watching a Netflix movie ("Knight & Day"). Tried to catch up on-line. Then, tried to find a repeat day/time, but no luck. Judging from the photos, there are some interesting looking girls, but most will have some difficulty being photographed well unless they figure out how to get the most out of their look. Interesting can be good, but it can be challenging.

Not overwhelmed with any of them. Assuming one of the purposes of this program is to find and create successful models, 26 is too old and 5 ft. 7 in. is too short for this particular show.

If I don't remember to watch next Wednesday, that will probably say something my interest level.

I thought the plastic bubble at the fashion show was ridiculous, especially when the two girls fell and no one did anything to help. Judging candid backstage pictures was even more ridiculous. There are a few girls (again) who are just plain homely, not models. Don't know their names, but the girl with freckles? Really, a model? The girl with the rat tail? Not even remotely attractive. There are a couple of girls I can see doing high fashion, but overall, a pretty poor group this time around.

Meh, I gave up on this show after season seven, but I watched this episode.

I hope the group that got the photos during the casting weren't actual contestants, but from the sound of it, they were. That would be really harsh to think you made it onto the show, only to find out it was some absurd stunt and then be sent home.

The bubble thing looked downright silly, and I felt bad for the girls who fell down. A good portion of the crowd outright laughed. The only one who pulled it off was Brittani. She impressed me.
