"Such potential..." -> (skater never manages to demonstrate whatever the so called potential was estimated).

"There is such a special quality to her/his skating" -> (I can't explain it with coherent and professional words, but this skater has it).

"Obviously judges appreciated/disliked the program" -> (I didn't watch because I was in the bathroom or wherever it is a shame to be during a competition !).
