Jump tracings
Anyone know of a good source of information on tracings left by jumps? Pictures of correct tracings? I found one site but it does not seem very precise.
At the moment I'm wondering why there is sometimes a small hook on my toe loop tracing. Am I just rocking towards the toe of my skating foot slightly right before I take off? Where exactly should I place my toe pick? Where should the Salchow landing be relative to the takeoff?

Figure Skating: Championship Techniques (Sports Illustrated) by John Misha Petkevich is a great resource to complement skating technique, with tracing drawings for all types of jumps .
Here is the Amazon link:

Good luck!

Not tracings, but a lot of good info http://www.sk8stuff.com/m_recognize.htm
ETA - if you have a hook on your toe loop, you are turning on your right foot (CCW jumper) before take off. You need to make sure that you don't pick too far around behind you, and don't let your upper body rotate too early.

I second the recommendation for Petkevich's book. A great resource.
