I remember watching his show with my mom when I was a kid. He made exercise easy for everyone, and always seemed like such a classy guy.

Glad to hear he was healthy up until the very end. That's how I'd want to go. I saw my grandma physically waste away for years because she refused to be active, and it was terrible.

I remember my mom working out with Jack LaLanne. She had her chair out for the exercises. Elaine LeLanne, his wife, and Happy, his white shepherd dog. RIP

Awww... I'm sad about this. I remember reading an article about him five or six years ago and being amazed that he was still at it. He was such a role model - no excuses, just do it. RIP, Jack.

As a child, I remember my grandmother exercising in front of the TV with Jack LaLanne's show -- and I remember Jack's exhortations to "Inhale" .......... "Exhale" accompanied by ascending and descending scales on the organ. R.I.P., Jack.

I'm in shock, he was an amazingly dedicated and inspirational person. He was one of those celebrities you assume is going to be around forever.
I would've expected some celebrities a quarter of his age to die before he did.

Another legend gone, but did he ever live life to the fullest and also helped an awful lot of people learn the benefits of exercise and a healthy lifestyle long before it became "the answer" to helping w/so many health issues. Not a bad legacy to have.
He'll be missed and he's more than earned his rest.
