    That is sad.

Bowel problems seem to be the way many older cats and dogs go. I had a 10 year-old border collie who was very active and then one day he appeared to be contsipated. The vet recommended feeding him vegetable oil. He never recovered and was dead within 3 days.

Take a little time to mourn, and then rescue a cat - or two.

    As a fellow cat-lover/owner, I'm so sorry.
You were fortunate to have Bandit; and Bandit was fortunate to have you.

    Blessings to you, Holley!

*hugs* to you Holley. My heart goes out to you. It's always so hard losing an animal friend. May you find peace in your memories that you have of Bandit.

My condolences on the loss of your heart kitty. How lucky you two were to have had each other. When you feel able, perhaps post a picture or several of Bandit?

What a sweet thing to say! I hope they are all bounding about, happy and well, in kitty heaven....thank you so much. I told Bandit this morning to say hello to our own beloved babies that had gone before him.

Thank you to everyone who has written. It means so much! I love you all!

Edited to include a link to Richard's site and a pic of my boy. He loved to have christmas bows put on his head! he thought it was so cool, and then when they fell off, they were fun to swat.....

He was so glossy and fat when this was taken. He hasn't looked like that in a long time.

What a beautiful photograph of your dear Bandit!
    Richard is indeed an artist.
