    And that was held for Hu Jintao on a previous visit - in 2006, when she first asked Condoleeza Rice about volunteering for the State Dept.

    I think it's a standard practice when a foreign leader is hosted at the WH to invite prominent Americans who trace their ancestry to that leader's country.
