I'm having fond memories of the Burt Parks days. He was like Uncle Dick, but way wackier.

You are exactly right, she's the first contestant in pageant history to be running on a gay rights platform.

For those wondering the difference between Miss USA and Miss America, the swimsuit competition is probably the most glaring.

Oh, and I'm officially old because this song is horrible.

And on second look, she's actually pretty cute. I guess she's my pony now. Sorry, Arkansas (though you're still in my top 3).

Miss Oklahoma is HAWT, and damn, she can walk. She had attitude and everything.

Rhode Island is pretty worthy too. Miss Utah is bootilicious, and maybe a bit of cellulite--that's progressive. Miss Arkansas doesn't walk that well and looks uncomfortable. Must be that racial ambiguity. Miss California looks the most natural to me. Miss Kentucky has a six pack. Miss Oregon's very beach-blanket beautiful.

They all looked much prettier to me than they did in the weird silver dress things, and it looked like a lot of them wiped off a lot of their make-up too.

I wasn't going to watch this, but it's like a YA vampire series--you get caught up in the story line and you have to see how it ends.

Considering they were born, raised, and did the majority of their development of the Flyer in Dayton, I would say probably.

I'm afraid to watch. The guide said Brooke Burke is involved in hosting.

Wheee, NY in for evening wear. I wonder how many will do talent?

I'm hoping for a top 5 of NY, KY, TX, AR, and VA.
