I really hope the coaching change works out for her! She's one of my favorites! Love her speed and basic skating ability! Hopefully, she can learn the 3Lutz and add it to her jump arsenal. Удачи, Ксения!

Why isn't this as big a issue as Artur Jr changing coaches? I thought it was said that Russian skaters don't coach-hop.

Hopefully they will add some more choreography and transitions into her program. Her jumps are great but her programs are otherwise pretty empty. I guess we won't see too much change at Euros but maybe by Worlds?

I guess marbri tried to say that you can't compare the likes of Galina and Viktor who since Viktor's own days of skating (and Oksana's) hadn't had a whole lot of success coaching-wise to a coach like Mishin who (even if you don't like the way his skaters skate) had a lot of success and being known for giving his skaters a close-to-perfect or even perfect technique. At this point I don't know why anyone would stay with Galina/Victor. They don't seem to understand the basics of COP.
In my spare time, I like to interview figure skating legends.
