Since I've been on an extended recovery from aortic valve replacement, I have developed an inordinate fondness for the Travel Channel's "Ghost Adventures" (and its lead investigator, Zak Bagans , who is *so* not my usual type!).

(Also count me in as a "Toddlers & Tiaras" and "Little Miss Perfect Junkie": do you not just love his song about "citrus-colored rainbows"? Hey, when all you can do is lie around and heal, ya gotta keep the brain semi-functional....)

And I hate to admit but those documentaries on TLC with people who have physical defects (like the lady with the giant legs) or are 1000lbs, etc. It's horrible for me to say this, but I always bitch about being short and having such short legs, so when I watch those shows it reminds me I have nothing to complain about. I never read fan fiction if I really like the show and its characters. They take too many liberties and the really good ones end up becoming blurred with the "canon" of the shows. (Then again, I like Sci Fi)
