I couldn't agree more! I love that show, wouldn't call it a guilty pleasure at all. It was brilliant until, as you said, season 5 then bleh...

Hey I was just joking,eh? There are certainly much less talented acts out there than Justin. Though not a fan I don't run away screaming if I accidentally hear one of his songs.

At least he was always into music and actually composes and sings strongly. There are a lot of so-called singers out there who couldn't write a song to save their lives and have barely passable singing voices. They are really just manufactured "stage acts" with totally forgettable voices that are so heavily overproduced I am sure you couldn't recognize them if they sang a capella.

I'm pretty sure we don't want them to sing a capella or without help. :screams: Though a few of them sound better live, like Lady Gaga. You'd never know it from some of her songs, but live, she can SING.

Britney Spears could genuinely sing when she was younger. She had a low, soulful, jazz-like voice. I wonder now if she still can sing but sounds the way she does because that's what sells or if she's one of those unfortunate people that lost their voice with maturity.

LOL I'm in that camp. too. I also thing Dog's son, Leiland (from Dog the Bounty Hunter) is smokin' hot. What is wrong with me?

    Other guilty pleasures include:

    -FSU
    -The Bachelor
    -Toddlers & Tiaras
    -Little Miss Perfect
-Nancy Grace...She is so over the top that I love it. I think I'm like her #1 fan. I'm so ashamed!

Also, not really a guilty pleasure, but something I should probably be embarrassed to admit here is that I named my daughter after a skater.

You and me both! My husband has just come to accept my infatuation. Jon has kept himself in such good shape...Richie has kinda fallen apart. I can't count how many times I've seen him in concert

Fanfiction. Reading AND writing it. (Actually, there's some really well-written stuff out there! But on the whole, I think it has kind of a bad reputation . . . )

One of my guilty pleasures when I just want to relax is to get out my old 70's albums and crank up the stereo. I'm listening to Seals & Crofts Greatest Hits at the moment:

Now there's a name I haven't heard in a while. My husband's cousin used to be engaged to her. I never met her but she's a bit of a flake apparently.
