I did enjoy his Olympic documentaries. Perhaps ESPN (or Showtime?) will repeat a few in the next days.
RIP.

Oh, this is so sad. He did such a great job with his Olympic profiles each time around.
RIP, Bud. You will be missed.
Here's a wonderful tribute, found on his website:

I looked forward to his films as much as the Olympics themselves.

RIP!
Loved to watch his documentry films of Olympic heros.
He will be missed.
My paper's obit mentions that his 2010 Vancouver Oly film should be released shortly. It think, though that it has been some years since his new Oly films were shown here.
Universal Sports channel will be showing 9 consecutive nights of Greenspan's documentaries, beginning January 1st.

If you've never seen one, make sure to watch, they are really amazing works of film art.
Thanks for the link, Fergus - I record and watch every one of Greenspan's sport and Olympic documentaries.
They make me appreciate every athlete, from sports I've barely heard of or cared about before.
Watched the 1984 one last night. Good stuff.
In my spare time, I like to interview figure skating legends.
OMG, what a blast from the past that was, totally rocked me back to my childhood!
John Moffet, mmmm, what a cutie, bum thigh and all.
Tonight: Calgary '88!
Midori tearing the roof off of the Saddledome!
Battle of the Bubble Butts, er, um, Brians!
Bestemianova with more frosting in her hair than a Hostess factory!
Long live the 80s!!!![]()
I watched it too and really enjoyed it. I've heard about Bud's films for a long time but never got a chance to watch them. I hope to check out most of them during this run on Universal Sports. He will be missed for sure but what amazing memories he's left behind with his Olympic films. RIP![]()
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
"I guess I'm just...I'm not used to someone putting me first." -Emma, Once Upon a Time, episode 2x3, Lady of the Lake
On Universal Sports starting tonight (Monday, January 3) -- from the TV Alerts forum:
