My favorite to watch is usually ice dancing, because I'm doing it myself. But I love some men, ladies and pairs and can watch every discipline with the same pleasure !

Since the list did not specify Ladies, I voted for Pairs instead of Freestyle. But I love Ladies by far among the 4 Olympic disciplines and care the least for Mens (though I watch them too, for sure).

I love ice dance and mens. And it's weird, because when I was first watching skating, I was all about ladies and pairs. But I got to know what ice dance is all about, and now I love it for its speed, flow, and precision of edge work. And I really like the combo of artistry and athleticism that is men's.
And so, dear Lord, it is with deep sadness that we turn over to you this young woman, whose dream to ride on a giant swan resulted in her death. Maybe it is your way of telling us... to buy American.

Overall I chose icedance (no big surprise).

I love the creativity and being able to watch teams with excellent pure skating skills (not saying that there are no freestylers or pairs who have excellent skating skills). Also icedance is the only of the four disciplines that I end up loving programs from lower ranked teams just as much if not more than some of the top teams. Even if some teams may be lacking in difficulty, their programs can still be fantastic, artistic, voidy etc.

In the other disciplines lower ranked couples usually are there for reasons such as more mistakes, less developed skating skills which takes away from the performance level.

I guess the hard thing for a lot of people to accept is why God would allow me to go running through their yards, yelling and spinning around.

My preferences are a three-way tie between Men, Ice Dance, and Synchro.

at this thread. ks777 and Ozziesk8tr's posts are the reason I read the above as a "three-way between men, ice dance and synchro"...

Okay, works for me as long as it's Ponsero, Scott Moir (in about 10 years time) and the three of us can go for it in unison. Does that cover all bases? Also Kwanfan's mind was totally there when she was writing her post.

Ice dance for me which is since ten years ago I couldn't even figure out how it could possibly be judged. (Fairly, that is.) I now think that preferring ice dance to other...uh, disciplines...is the mark of a truly evolved skating fan.

Not that the judging makes any sense to me now, either.
