Why not? She's promoting Youth Olympics and she did skate in that dress in her own Olympic appearance.

Yuna Signs Sponsorship Contract with E1

    http://yunakimfan.com/2011/12/19/19414/

E1 is one of the largest LP gas enterprises in Korea.
E1 has become the main title sponsor for All That Skate Spring 2012, which will be held in May next year.
Heck, she girl's got an endless list of sponsorship for herself already and another one! Some of replies are saying that the company is also expecting to incorporate Yuna's charity works with them and to branch out these charity-related activities. One of ways is to sponsor the people with disabilities and if anyone's ever heard of LG(I have!), E1 is their affiliated company. Sounds like a great deal for both Yuna and this company.

Good for her and also for E1! It’s nice they collaborate for good causes too. It seems Yu-Na and GS/LG have a long standing relationship. I remember way back in her junior years when she was a no name, GS Caltex the petrochemical arm of GS gave Yu-Na some unconditional aid for training expenses.

2011 in 3 Question: Kim Yu-na by WJS Asia

WSJ: What was the highlight of your year?
WSJ: What was the highlight of the year for Korea?
Ms. Kim opted not to answer our third question about the challenges of the year ahead. We look forward to seeing her in competitive action again soon.
    This too will pass away.

    At school with a classmate(?):

She’s a physical education major at Korea University, and it’s said she’s been regularly attending classes. Kudos to her schoolmates for being considerate enough and protective of her; there’s been very few photos of her school life on the net or on SNS.

At the SBS’s year-end awards presentation gala:

Although her skating isn't for me, I think she's such a wonderful role model and a charming person.

"I am still an athlete. I don't have concrete idea of being a sport diplomat yet."
"If YOG had existed when I was younger, I would have certainly participated."

Kim Yuna, who's been working as a sports diplomat, emphatically emphasized that she's still an athlete first and foremost today.

Kim Yuna departed on the morning of the 10th from Incheon International Airport to attend the opening ceremony of the first Youth Olympics Games in Innsbruck, Austria.

As a promotional ambassador of YOG, Kim Yuna will attend the opening ceremony at Bergisel Stadium and participate as a torch carrier.

Kim has been appointed as a promotional ambassador by the IOC last October. Since then, she made a promotional video and, in last November, attended an official press conference to promote YOG.

Kim, who has vigorously played her role as a sports diplomat for 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics and more, emphasized that she's still an athlete first and foremost. Before the departure, she added, "After a successful bid of Pyeongchang Olympics, I've heard a lot of talks about me as being a sports diplomat but I'm still too young and have been merely working as an athlete first and foremost."

At the games, Kim Yuna will have time to interact with young athletes. "As being an athlete myself, I'd like to build close relationships with young athletes," she added, "I hope they don't take this competition in a too serious manner."

Kim, who will return on the 16th, also expressed a regret in not being able to watch all the figure skating competitions. "I really want to watch all the figure skating events," she said, "but I won't be able to see all of them."
