    I wish I could take back my vote for Weir (with Priscilla) because David Jenkins had the best clockwise 3A.

    ... Oddly enough, I would say Sandhu had the most similar technique to David's save that David really stepped into his 3A.

    I wasn't even born when Jenkins skated to Olympic gold so I had google his LP on youtube.

    Oh my, I love skating in the good old days, they had CLASS!!

    Jenkins axel was really good, I don't really fully enjoy they others mentioned in this thread, they're all a bit to "rounded" in the take off, if that made sense. To me, it's often like that with the North American technique...though Todd is among the better

    I remember a pro competition years ago where Kulik did a triple axel that was so beautiful and easy I was certain it was a double until I saw the replay...

    We're only discussing clockwise jumps in this thread.

    Who else has done a clockwise triple axel?

    I couldn't find a clean one from Michael Chack.

    There have been so few elite clockwise skaters from outside of North America. I can only think of a few women.

    I think there was at least one Slovakian man attempting CW 3A a number of years ago, but I can't find videos online and I don't think they landed them consistently.

    He will get my vote over all later skaters because:
    A triple axel back then was a huge deal.
    A clockwize triple axel was a huge deal.
    He probably had to learn that on his own.
    To be able to jump and spin like that in the "boots" they used to wear!
    And the blades they used to use!
