I have watched her for Ever and would love to see a podium finish at Worlds

And if she can stay on heer feet I think she is as good or better than any who are currently skating.

Tara said something I thought was pretty great. The trick isn't to get the nerves to disappear...but to figure out how you can use them in your performance. I think that is both wise and true

    Best she's ever skated

I've been a skating fan since the Lillehammer Olympics, and I have to say Alissa Czisny is my all-time favorite American skater in the ladies event because of her ability to combine outstanding athletic moves with beautiful line, extension and artistry. People often say she struggles with consistency, but there are very few skaters who don't struggle with consistency. If you're pushing yourself and trying to be all you can be, your consistency might suffer because your degree of difficulty is so high. Alissa has some of the best moves and best positions I've ever seen, and it's wonderful to see her skating so well.

Seriously, her program is simply breathtakingly beautiful. That music is perfect for her spins... have you noticed how it works? She becomes the music.

    I'm rooting for her too.

My favorite ladies skaters are the ones where I could care less if they ever jump. Alissa is perfect in this category. She continually brings tears to my eyes. And she can make a burlap bag look exquisite.

Great for Alissa and big congratulations. I am really loving her skating since I firts saw her debuting in Junior Grand Prix ages ago in Bratislava and I am kind of always hoping she will the other bunch of boring american ladiezzzzzzz anywhere anytime in the future. So, hopefully this year? We have always hopes.

    ITA.
Hopefully, Jason will be the one going to Nationals with her, since their track record together is off the chart.
I like how she went to GPF wanting to win, and letting that be OK
....none of that old "I can't control the outcome" crap we used to hear.

I bet a lot of fans have.
Alissa always had the "IT" factor, but with an asterisk.
Maybe she can finally dump the asterisk.

Alissa at long last finally delivered two programs that she has long been capable of doing but could never put on the ice when it mattered.

    Congratulations to her!!

May this win give her the confidence to know that she can bring it and show everyone just how beautiful her skating is.

The exhibition dress is really cool!

I'm sorry to say that I never had faith in Alissa and felt like her nationals win was a fluke, but she has overcome any doubts I had with this GPF win. So confident, mature, and beautiful. Her last few competitions have been so solid and consistent - she really has become a new skater. (I don't want to jinx her for nationals though - but I think Rachael has become last year's Alissa, and Alissa has become last year's Rachael.)

BTW her I-spin is better than Sasha's. Just effortless.
