The Yule log is one of three holiday TV traditions from my childhood; the others being a Porky's marathon (?!), and the other being a Twilight Zone marathon, which I still wish could happen.

Oh wait, and A Christmas Story on loop.

    Thumbs up

I have a yule log DVD. I admit I thought it was kind of silly when I bought it, but now I really like it. It's very nice/cozy to have it on when I'm curled up on the couch with a good book - you can even hear the fire crackling!

Sci-Fi -- or Syfy, or whatever they are now -- still do that, don't they? I'm not sure if they ever do it at Christmas, but they've done it around New Year's before.
