Haunting the Princess of Pink since 20/07/11...
Metastatic breast cancer is a cruel, cruel disease. In the spring of 2009 we visited some of our friends who were attending a MBC conference, at which Elizabeth Edwards was the keynote speaker. I didn't see her speech, but the girls we were visiting were very impressed with Elizabeth Edwards. All three of them have since passed away. The oldest of these girls was 40. And now Elizabeth is dying.
We need a cure so very badly.

Elizabeth Edwards' message brought tears to my eyes. May she find everlasting peace. She certainly deserves it.
My aunt just passed away after a four-year struggle with cancer. I just came back from her funeral. This article makes me so sad to read. Peace be with Elizabeth and her beautiful children.
I heard this last evening. So sad for the young ones only, what, 10 and 12? Happy that her family (including John) is with her. Peace.
She passed away.
That was quick. They must have waited until the last moment to notify the media, so she had peace and wasn't harassed for interviews, etc.
CNN is reporting.
It's on CNN also. She has passed.
My thoughts go out to her family.
wow... I was not expecting it to be so fast.
Aw, she was just posting on Facebook this week. Sounds like she was lucid right until the end. God Bless her children in their journey without her. RIP

Oh my...RIP Elizabeth. You deserve it I think.
That was really sudden! She was posting on fb and the speculation was that she had a few weeks. RIP.
Yikes. She must have been much sicker than thought, or they waited a while before announcing she'd ended treatment because I'd swear that was this morning? Yesterday morning? They were saying weeks to a couple months, not...this instant.
ABC was saying this morning that she had days.
I hope she has found peace and serenity and absence from pain, and is now reunited with her son. Condolences to her family.

I just found out. What a great lady! RIP Elizabeth. I am teary eyed as I type this, but I hope she finds peace and happiness where she is now.
So sad to hear this news. My sympathy to her family.
