A little aside - when I was growing up (as a little Jewish girl), I always thought Christmas was a 12 day holiday because of the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas." Now I realize that it is observed for one day, although there is also the thought that Three Kings' Day comes on January 6 (which would be the 12th day since 12/25).
