I never skip to the end... but I do skip over descriptions of scenery or passages where nothing much is happening.

I used to read Babysitter's Club books when I was a kid. In every book, the author would describe the babysitter's club, how it works, how it was created, and then give a description of all of the members. I swear, the exact same descriptions were given in every book, word for freakin word.

I quickly learned to skip over chapter 2.
