I feel for the fans in Texas -- I felt the same way when COI dumped all its Florida stops in 2003. The nearest show was in Atlanta which was 8 hrs away.

I must have missed that. I only saw Anaheim.

It sucks they're dropping tour stops, but it must be so expensive to put on this tour. They're probably not making any money.

Times are tough...lets just hope they don't do what they did in Canada a year ago....they did the SOI tour in Canada with no show lighting...only dimmed the house lights

Of course I feel for those who cannot get to watch the SOI show live in a place near to them anymore. On the other hand I think that for a 25th anniversary show it sounds great to have 25 stops...

And I notice that it is mentioned so far that both Evan and Sasha will be doing every stop.

Wasn't that the year they did Studz? If so, I know I saw it at 4 Florida locations. They've dropped Tampa this year.

Since the thread was mostly about SOI I completely missed the COI in the post.

I'm shocked they aren't doing anything in Michigan, then again, I guess it's not so surprising given how rough the economy is there, compared to elsewhere. But wow...skating is so huge there, it's a shame there's no SOI.

That's an impressive partial list! Kurt & Katia for all 25 shows is amazing! Still waiting for the full list!! Have they ever been this late getting the cast figured out? I thought Mike Weiss was in it for sure and Jeff Buttle?? I'm still hoping I/Z will make some guest appearances....maybe they'll do the shows Sale-Pelletier aren't doing!

When I talked with Jeff after Riverdance on Ice last weekend, he made it seem like he wasn't doing the US version of the tour. He specifically mentioned Canada and Japan. He did mention how he is doing the choreography for the tour though.

Cool! I don't believe I've ever seen Kurt skate live, so this would be a great opportunity to change that.

Thanks for the info on Jeff! I guess I was thinking since he has SOI U.S. on his schedule page that he'd be on the U.S. tour http://www.jeffreybuttle.com/schedule.html

I've got tickets for the Lake Placid show on Nov. 27th.

Since Battle of the Blades finishes on Nov. 22nd, there's not much time for rehearsals in Lake Placid. Perhaps they're going to do some rehearsals in Toronto this year?

Things definitely could have changed between last week and now....maybe he's doing some of the guest spots?
