But we are not talking " best", we are talking " favorites"... Jeremy's 2008-9 LP to me is the most musically brilliant piece of choreography of- maybe- all time ( for me, I hurry to add), and in GPF Jeremy did that choreography complete justice. Of course he grew as a skater last year and his National performances were sensational- but just personally for me, when I need to watch something which deeply touches me- I go to GPF 2008.

what a special, special talent! I'll forever kick the danish skating feds ass for not supporting her properly! what a waste, who cares about the harder triples when the girl can move and skate and do a layback spin like that??
ITA. She was such a talent. IMO kind of like a more charismatic version of Lepisto. So much grace and musicality, and fantastic skating skills. I never knew why she couldn't get the support she deserved. She was only 15 or 16 when she gave up singles. I think she could've eventually gotten her flip and lutz if she kept trying.

I loved Silvio. If only he'd trained with someone other than Huth, Destroyer of Skaters.

Ekaterina Gordeeva's Celebration of A Life wher she skated to Gustav Mahler's Symphony #5 Adagietto for Sergei.

No matter how many times I see Katia doing this number for Sergei, I can still cry. It gives me chills when she realizes he's not there and searches the crowd for him. If there ever was another program performed with such emotion, I don't know of it.

Yay!!! Glad I could help, twinsissv, I thought that might have been the one you were looking for It's one of my all time favorite pair programs, I get chills every time I watch it!

Kelleys6th, you said it. There is no more emotional program than Gordeeva's Mahler program, I also cry when I watch it. Even hearing the music gives me chills!

I never grow tired of watching:

Michelle Kwan - Romanza 1996 Worlds

Michelle Kwan 1998 Pro Am East of Eden

Brian Boitano - Shenandoah/The Call the Wind Mariah

Alexei Yagudin - Winter, Olympics SP

    Todd Eldredge 1996 Worlds

Michelle Kwan - Dream of Desdemona 97 Worlds

I'm a Kwan fan obviously...so pretty much add any of her performances in here, other than maybe Bolero...which I could never get into.

Evan Lysacek - 06 Olympics Carmen

    Kurt Browning - Antares

Angela Nikodinov - Giselle She rarely skated clean but I still loved that program.

Matt Savoie - The Mission 2006 Nationals

I could go on and on really. There are a ton I don't get tired of watching
