Stephane Lambiel reminds me of Robin. He takes performing seriously and does it well.
The performance of Robin you are looking for is : 1993 Skate for life (solo spoken poetry number, that is). I don't find it on Youtube.

And back to the topic, one of my favorite dance, ever :

ITA....That program was charming, refreshing, a breath of fresh air. They have wonderful skating skills and so light and airy in this program..........I expect more terrific programs from them in years to come and am really looking forward to seeing them at Skate Canada next week.

. I think he must be Tomas Verner's idol....their looks, skating, jumping, crazy funny exhibitions are all very similar.

No performance is ever exactly the same. Sometimes it's a celebration, sometimes it's a prayer. Touches my heart each and every time.

^Very cool, innovative tap dance-inspired program (including a "making of" fluff beforehand)! Just when you thought you couldn't love Susie Wynne any more...
I love it. Especially the tap dance on ice. It's hard to bend your feet and ankles in skate boots!

Thanks to all for posting on this thread - I'm checking out all of the programs!

Some place competitive and athletic, but ultimately more like an audition than anything else.

You may think it strange from me . . .

Tara Lipinski- The Color of Roses

. . . It was the most artistically honest and fitting program I ever saw from Tara.

Being a Finn and all, I was happy to discover this. I thought Alisa Drei never skated clean and with emotion but this proves it wrong. Such a "pity" everyone else skated well that night too so she finished 5th in the FS. Could've been in top 3 in Europe with this program some other year Anyway, I enjoy seeing something like this from a skater who was never considered a top skater. AND 3-3! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWYNAULzExA
