I think if you want to keep up with all the news on FSU you have your hands full already.I don't need another forum.
I agree with Hedwig, FSU is enough to keep one busy!
However, if you fancy a different style, you could always give Goldenskate a try. Quieter, but some good info at times.
There are other figure skating forums beside FSU?

I heard FSU is rather snarky . . . because I'm here![]()
I often read six figure skating forums, in five different languages (two with google translate)It's great for a cultural comparision

They're all shit.
FSU is the best of the bad bunch, definitely.
(Well I would recommend reading a local forum for local news and gossip. I love Walley, the Polish forum)
Why would you want to go to any other forum?![]()
What the hell is a Ninja Twizzle? Does it have anything to do with hard shelled aquatic life forms that live in the sewer?
I'm pretty sure SHARPIE wouldn't appreciate advertising other skating forums here on FSU.
Have you thought of Google?
Voidy Swan, Dirty Carmen, Perverted Moonlight Sonata. God I love figure skating!
Is Google blocked in China?
plushenkosochi2014.com![]()
I don't know other skating forum in foreign country(except FSU). In China, Chinese professional figure skating forum is called "Hua Yang Nian Hua",I think this forum is good, but it is a Chinese forum, I think it is diffucult for foreigners to know the meaning.Another forum is called "Post Bar" in Baidu.I think "Post Bar" is more hot than "Nian Hua".Every skaters has their own Post Bar.We can get more information from that forum(I mean more information is about Chinese skaters).I think FSU is very international ,I can get a lot of foreign skater's information which I can't find in Chinese website. And a lot of people are willing to help me.I like many foreign friends in this forum. They are very friendly.![]()
It depends on what you want from forums. I'm here for international news, competition results not aired/reported in my country, skaters hard to access in my local forums, mutual exchange of opinions, Q&A on technical something, etc. And good to continue your study of English.![]()
This too will pass away.
+1. This place is the biggest, has the largest number of members and topics, and as the result- it is the most reliable source of information. And there is always fun around. OP, Goldenskate, as somebody mentioned, is not bad too but a little smaller. Forum ISU, which is supposed to be a harboring place for all FS fans, is run by pathetic Nazi (username "siteadmin" on that forum) who accepts only one opinion, expressed by his favourite poster and her hysterical team. A different opinion is not tolerated. The worst thing is he openly said that he doesn't care much how many members they have.It is the rudest thing I ever heard from Internet forum admin. Like a hostess who says "I don't care if you come or not." As the result they have days with 0 posts, low traffic and boring irreliable stuff. Other forums that I know are mainly fan-oriented and it is probably difficult to visit all of them if you are busy with work and family. Somebody on FSU posted the link of skatersnews in winter (sorry, have no idea who did it). I use it to check the topics and then I read the interesting stuff. Very convenient.
Unfortunately, I don't have much time to post on forums. www.skatersnews.com
