I am not big on praying but sometimes it is worth a try! Please keep my brother in your thoughts and prayers. Last night he was involved in a bad accident on his motorcycle. He is currently in ICU but appears to have dodged a huge bullet and doesn't have any life threatening injuries. He had a compound fracture to his leg, broken ribs, broken arm and a collapsed lung in addition to all his cuts and bruises. He just got his motorcycle 2 weeks ago and we all told him how stupid he was. This isn't a good time to say "I told you so" but we hope he has learned a lesson and he never gets on one of them again. For anyone thinking of getting a motorcycle, please don't! It is not worth the risk. My brother did nothing wrong, a woman just pulled out right in front of him. An accident can happen to ANYONE, even the very best of drivers. Thank you.

Praying for a full recovery. Regarding motorcyles. Soooo much fun, but sooo unsafe. Dome of the ER docs here call them donorcycles. Good for obtaining spare body parts.

We were vacationing in Florida at the beach. My youngest (about age 7) said, I hear a motormichael (sic), then we all could hear the screeching brakes, then hear the scraping of metal on a sand covered macadam road, it slid forever. One didn't need to see it. Gah.
Hope your brother is ok and that he will change his mind about motorcycle's safety.

Sometimes these little wake-up calls can change a life for the better. Thank God he is not badly injured, and maybe it will all have been for the best in the long run. I will pray so. Best wishes and big hugs to you all.
