    Yes!

Michelle just owns the ice. I know there was talk about this in the other thread, but IMO, she shows Yu-Na how it's done. I kind of wanted to see the Wintersong program more. I love this song, though.

I can spin in both directions... on my floor. (not sure that counts)

Anyone want to do a two sided chi-square test for me? I keep trying to do homework during the commercials.

Looks like you got your wish

TG, I'm afraid that I don't even know what that is. Math isn't exactly my thing...

I can do half turn pirouettes in both directions. We're going for full turns tomorrow night

I'm trying to prep for a mid-term during commercials. We should probably both give up on this grad school homework until the broadcast ends

Stephane is so believable. Fantastic performance. nothing forced. What a charmer.

eta: his 'headless' spin is amazing. it really looks like his head disappeared.

It was nice to see Kwan skate again. She was never my fave skater, but I always thought she just had this rare quality about her on the ice.

Strange question, I know, but: Does Stephane have patent leather boots or something? They're absurdly shiny. (and whee!!! opposite direction axel!)

Stephane! Now that's how you do an exhibition! My favorite skate by FAR

I'm such a fangirl for Lambiel. *Sigh*
Reverse axel followed by a modified double toe in the opposite direction. I can watch that move over and over!

Hey, I know what a two-sided chi-square test is! Well, I know it's some sort of statistical thing at least.

Not a big fan of GFBs, so it's a bit hard to like the duet. But nicely skated, gals.

Yuna skates shy in comparison to Michelle. She's doing the same arm movements, etc. but without as much conviction and presence.

I had no idea what I saw there. That was a good program.

I forgot this was on and just turned in to see MK and Yu-na's skate. :

Yu-na is a lovely skater without a doubt, but she doesn't have Michelle's magic. It's clear when they skate together.
Those who never succeed themselves are always the first to tell you how.

I agree. When I was watching it, my eye kept getting drawn to Michelle rather than Yu-Na. It was obvious too after their skates were shown right after the other earlier.

Michelle is just a born performer. Like her or not, she has presence on the ice.

Oh dear, a dance-off. . . with a lotta white-boy (and one clean-cut Asian boy) skaters pretending to do gang moves.. . cheesetastic!

Who else thinks those pleather leggings of Johnny's are just all wrong?? They remind me of Boitano's unfortunate skin-tight leggings phase.
