Navka/Vorobyev and Arzamasova/Staviski have the highest scores from last 4 Episodes but we have to wait until the Gala and the viewer's voting to find out who won

Here are few home videos from the Gala in Khodinda from 12/25/2010 .

Does anyone know why Berezhnaya and Ugolnikov's performance wasn't scored? Just curious.

    Merry Christmas to all.

    Perhaps they were already eliminated?
They never give Elena a partner she could win with.

Well, quite expectedly - Navka-Vorobiev won. Stavisky-Arzamassova are second. Kostomarov-Kazanova share the third place with Marinin-Podolskaya.
P.S.Navka-Vorobiev victory is one more proof that the sponsor's money(Vorobiev's) can always beat the artistic talent( Stavisky).

Thanks for the info, Libra. I agree with you that Staviski and Arzamasova were better than Navka and Vorobyev but I'm not sure what you mean when you talk about money beating talent. I thought that Nescafe sponsored the show. Are you saying that Vorobyev or his management were involved in the sponsorship?

Yes, I mean his management, specifically the Baroness Gechmen von Valdek. Vorobiev's promotion from her is out of all proportion. Nestle Company(Nescafe) has nothing to do with winning or winners.

The official version is that they decided to wave their scores and to create something cheerful for their last dance .However according to the viewers at the shootings some of the judges didn't like or understand the dance and gave them very low scores but the audience wasn't happy.Maybe for once the organizers decided to please and respect the public opinion

    Thanks.

Does anyone know if the floor dancing part of the show was popular with the Russian public? Personally, I didn't like it and wish they hadn't introduced it.

To put it in a nutshell - yes!
As belonging to the Russian audience I think the aim of the dancefloor was achieved. Many participants of the show could be seen from the new points and angles, both good and bad, and could show their talents other than those known from ice.

Actually it was scored- all 5.0 for the first mark and all 6.0 for the second. The viewers were scandalized, as 5.0 may mean that didn't skate at all. Soduring the tv show the judges eliminated the marks at all.
