No Meagan Duhamel/Eric Radford? I would have thought this would have been an amazing time for them to kind of get assessed and show what they can do, especially since they were given a grand prix.

They could possibly still be going....especially if the press release just listed names from the National Team pages on the SC website.

The attendance criteria must be GP entry...because Jeremy Ten is going and he is not on the Nat team ( bur does have Skate Canada)...so that means Eric and Meagan may well be there.

I am glad that Skate Canada is keeping these camps but it seems rather strange that it is not in Vancouver. (I know the Olympics are over, but still...)

They had these camps long before they held them in Vancouver. They just purposely chose the Vancouver location to give athletes extra time to help them feel comfortable in the building.

The first (??), at least that I can remember, was held in Kitchener in 02 or 03.

Have the camps traditionally been held in Ontario (with the exception of the years leading up to the 2010 Vancouver Olympics) or do they move them around the country?

That's because Vancouver has bad fans who take notes and videos at open-to-the-public sessions, and then have the nerve to talk about what they saw Bad fans! Bad fans!

well if that's so that issue existed with 'Ms Mcleod's' parents at YRSA when she was there at Sectionals as well. They boo judges etc. So not cool.: but not surprising either.

IIRC the camps have been in Kitchener, Montreal ( twice, I think) , Torino, 4 times in Vancouver and now in Toronto.

Today was open to the public, but it was just practices and press scrums. ..AFAIK tomorrow ( when they actually skate their programs )is closed to the public ( Someone tell me I'm wrong) But some reports could still make it out. And I expect (hope) that will be when we get the final word on music choices

Yeah. Entertaining, but not exactly a "scoop".

I'm not sure it was really necessary to be there to have written this.

True, it's not exactly a scoop, but not worth a either.
