Okay, last question (hopefully for a while.)
My Skater Grrrl is doing a Death Drop into a cannonball. She was then changing to a front sit.
However, then I showed her a video of Dick Button doing a forward sit, to back UR spin, to a sort of fly/jump forward sit. (It's in first 10 seconds.)

My daughter saw this, misinterpreted it a bit, but then taught herself how to do a death drop, cannonball, and then a sort of jump/fly into a forward sit. She and coach are still not sure how they feel about it.
However, the big question is - if you could imagine such a move during a spin - would it be considered "re-centering the spin". The same for a camel with 2+ revs to a sort of "fly" mid spin into a back camel.
Long question short, what is the criteria for "recentering". I know that with spinning in the opposite direction, some skaters don't get the level for stepping out too big and the spin in opposite direction actually is seen as being a second spin.
Does anyone have any good guideline on what's too much movement across ice when it comes to jumps/flies within a spin?
Thanks again, and I promise this is the last question for a while.![]()
