Lovely photos but anyone would think Anton was the father .Steven seems to be in the background

I thought the same but then remembered that Stephen is most likely not familiar / comfortable with the whole orthodox ceremonial, whereas Anton naturally fits in.

It may have been something he accepted to take part in out of respect for Elena and her family, without really feeling part of the procedure.

I know Lena and Anton were partners but seems like most of the pics were just of those two as opposed to some of Steven who is the proud papa.

Looking at the photos, one would almost think Anton was the daddy.

I wouldn't mind that. In all seriousness, it's quite cute that Elena and Anton are still close. It does look a little weird though that in the group photos, Anton is standing in the middle while Steven is more off to the left.
