I would be okay with this if it were a young teen (around 13) who is hairy or has dark hair, and is embarrassed about it when wearing bathing suits. A bikini wax, not a full out brazilian.

Yeah I wonder if there's any truth to that claim. That kind of logic is used as a marketing tool to attract adults as well, but it's completely hoax.

I do get brazilian waxes, and the more I get it done the finer the hair grows back, but I'm not sure that it would ever completely stop growing if I started waxing when it first started growing. That does seem like something they are advertising just to get more customers in the door.

Well, there is some hair that is fine and light. The article claims that if you wax these, the real pubic hair that is darker and coarser will not grow. I don't know if I believe that.

I had hair down there at 10, not fine and light either. But it still was not enough to wax!! And nothing that would peek out of a bathing suit, at least not one appropriate for a ten year old! Got my period at 12. My mom (who is almost 70) got her period at 10. So early puberty is genetic (in my case) nd not entirely a new thing.

Ah... no... that's not why everybody does that. Where does she think that "fish smell" that gets joked about comes from - it's from a combo of sweat, discharge and body hair. I work out outside in the summer (cycling), plus I contra dance 3 weekends out of the month, so that's why I get rid of mine; it's got nothing to do with "what men like" because I get rid of it whether or not I'm involved with anyone like that.

Guys who are 35 remember what it felt like when they were in high school and were lucky enough to get their hands in certain places. These young guys today? They've grown up on a steady diet of Internet porn and a lot of them think that's what all girls should look like. I would bet twenty bucks that if you asked a random 20 year-old guy "pubic hair on a girl or no pubic hair?" he'd be scheeved by the idea of hair. Oh sure, there will be some twisted geniuses out there who would say they want the hair but the average 20 year-old guy? The girl has to be hairless or he's not touching it, period.

Augh... don't remind me of my age... I'll be in the 2nd half of my 30's in 2 months. I'm already hearing jokes from the older women at work that it's downhill after 40 (I'm the only person in the office younger than 40).

I feel sorry for what the younger generation of girls/women have to deal with as far as guys and their collective mentality. I'm not even impressed with the guys in my own generation. I used to have a male buddy who is now 69 years old; needless to say, long time ago he became my "Gold Standard" for how I want to be treated by any guy in my life. He always insisted on opening doors for me, and I'll never forget the lecture he gave me on that the first time we ever hung out outside of work.

Well most women don't go all the way, with the lip injections, plucked eyebrows, and fake boobs.

My point is that you should do what's comfortable for you for whatever reason you want, not do things because that's how you land a man. The right man won't care anyway.
