I'm glad that she is recovering; and looking forward to seeing her back on the ice.

I wonder if Mirai will be ready for Japan Open, if a month prior the event she will be just stroking and obviosly lost training time.

I hope Mirai recovers in time for the Grand Prix. Even if she does, lost training time will cause her performances to suffer.

I love Amanda. She always looks very happy. Mark too.
Ashley Wagner (pic 2) dyed her hair and I don't really like it.

I don't think Amanda & Mark have stopped smiling since Vancouver, LOL
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

I'm sure Flatt, Zawadzki and Gilles are all there (ditto for Czisny, Zhang and Musademba) -- just no photo evidence yet.

Stephen Carriere joins Mirai Nagasu on the "injured" list at Champs Camp according to these tweets yesterday: http://twitter.com/lynnrutherford
SCarriere won't show his programs; foot is in a boot after incision to remove cyst-like formation on ankle.
Says Stephen: "It's really not too serious; I should be back on the ice in a week or so. I just had to have it taken care of."

    good to hear!!

Nagasu's mom, Ikuko -- whom the skater says has recovered well from thyroid cancer surgery last fall -- will be making the treks with her.

"My mom still has to work at the restaurant, so she can't move up to Lake Arrowhead [full time]," the skater said. "I feel really bad for my mom but at the same time, it's really scary driving up there, so I'm glad she will be with me.

Aww, I understand Mirai's pain. That's kind of a scary drive (not to mention, it's hard to make such a long/difficult drive with a. limited driving experience and b. the difficulty of the task ahead once she gets there!).
