I want Katie out from those two. Not that I like Belle Amie, but as Poths said there's not a genuine bone in her body. She's all about the fame not the music which just annoys me no end!

Okay you know you're a bad singing group when there are four singers in your group and you still need backup singing in your music track. Epic fail when two of the girls started singing before the music started after the pause... and it was out of tune!

I keep on playing it over and over and over and am laughing hysterically!

Is Louis afraid of Simon? Does he need job security?

What’s that? Matt Cardle sang while juggling chainsaws, tight-rope walking over a snake pit and gargling poison? No? Oh. He just slowed down a version of a Britney Spears song, did he? How about for a few weeks, the judges exchange the words “taken a massive risk” for “slightly altered a song’s arrangement”?

1. “You deserve your place on that stage…”
Simon’s pet phrase when he knows one of his contestants is close to going out. What he means is “You deserve to be placed in a bizarre outfit, next to some strange dancers while Louis Walsh abuses you.” See also: “I hope people pick up the phone and vote for you.” "

Louis is definitely the worst offender and the most grating. "You look like a pop star" is the most inane critique and he uses it constantly.

Dermot tweeted that there shall be double eliminations the next two weeks. And thank goodness. Wagner and Katie have really worn out their welcome, and I wouldn't mind seeing Aiden go either, but he'll probably stupidly outlast Treyc or Mary instead. :/ Song spoilers so far:

Cher's version of Empire State of Mind was a bit lame but she looks so much better with the toned down make-up

Speaking vintage X-Factor, I am in love with Rhydian. Amazing voice, fantastic personality, very down-to-earth with no diva behaviour visible. And strikingly handsome in a very original way.

I am very angry with how Simon ditched him. The second album wasn't marketed at all and unsurprisingly bombed.

If only Cowell was willing to invest in him, I am share that he could have had success worldwide as a crossover artist that all the old ladies would want to adopt (or be shagged by).

He's gay, he doesn't have a vivacious, outgoing personality = he's hard to market and Simon is not willing to invest a lot of money to promote him outside the UK.

Speaking about marketing, X-Factor is so much about the image, putting a huge show, etc. that actual musical skills often get lost in the process.

His problem was an inability to create a likeable, marketable image. It's a shame that this counts to that extent nowadays. And X-Factor's budget should mean they'd be able to access music industry/PR professionals to guide the contestants.

Louis's decision to makeover Storm into an early 70s Bowie was a complete disaster.

Storm should have been about simplicity. Acoustic songs, maybe him playing on the guitar. Feathers stuck up the arse is just not his style at all. Shame.

As for Louis, he seems to be a right c***, so I'm not surprised.

Having Simon as a mentor must totally suck. He's not there most of the week (Simon's acts are in effect mentored by his colleague) and then he arrives and criticises you.

As long as any 2 of Wagner, Katie, Aiden, and Mary go home, that will be fine. Anything else would be a travesty. I think Mary should have boycotted that song choice. Horrible, stupid Louis.

Aiden and Katie I basically hate with just about any song. Never should have been here in the first place IMO. Cher did her worst so far- that song is plaaaaaaayed outtttttt. Not exciting. Treyc sang great, kind of a clunker choice again, did nothing for me. 1D and Paije did nice and fun jobs. Reba and Matt were stellar, good for them!
