    X Factor UK 2010

First audition show last night. Nobody outstanding.

    Playlist of last night's highlights

I cannot believe they put that Shirlena Johnson woman through.

Highlight of Dublin audition was Mary Byrne, first up on the playlist.

Maybe they had so few good auditions? Or maybe the good ones needed a little bit of help to smooth out the rough spots, like the woman singing "Walking On Sunshine"?
I'm off to the Patrick Chan threads...where you can watch a molehill become a mountain in seconds!!!

Dumber was being an obnoxious twat. Among other things she asked Natalie Imbruglia, "Err sorry, but who are you?" and had a go at the audience.

Sort of ironic that Cheryl Cole was shocked about someone hitting somebody else when you think back to this.

Oooh we have an XFactor thread. Although I've been so unimpressed with all of it so far. No one's standing out, even the cute guy who got through to Simon's judges house when he was 14 was

Ablisa are just , and It's car crash but you can't stop watching!

Looking forward to the DVD. We now got a proper telly and a lovely new (bed) sofa. And tonight I might get the Cheryl Cole hair cut. (Yeah, has nothing to do with it, I know...)

I need to buy DVD sleeves as I've ran out two weeks ago. My social life has gotten in the way.

Jackie, don't read the rest of this post or this thread until you get the DVDs.

I can't believe Cheryl picked Katie AND Cher. I can sort of understand Katie (even though she messed up her auditions), but I just find Cher not likable at all.

Shocking that Simon put through the two groups that had been put together, but I think it was the right choice. Teenies will like 1 Direction.

Dannii and Louis picked pretty who I thought would go through. It'll be interesting to see what happens on Saturday.

Eys it's all my fault for venting on FB last night. Soz Jackie

I can understand Cher going through as she was actually ill and had nailed her other auditions. Also all my students adore her so she seems to have tapped into the 16+ market who do vote along with the teenies. What I DON'T understand is putting through that whiny freak with pigeons for eyelashes who blew two of her auditions and is a total drama queen.

As for Simon, well, shocking as you say Fred Would really have preferred the geeky boy group to go through rather than 1 Direction, who didn't have a single harmony between them.
    Inspiring Mirai Nagasu!
