Oooh, I'm looking forward to seeing this. I've always wanted to see pair skaters use dance holds and steps for their inbetweens.

You might want to watch (or rewatch) Totmianina & Marinin's program from 2003. They did that quite a bit. I loved it, and about 4 other people did, too!

    Very nice pics!

Those are beautiful spread eagles. I love Tatiana's smile. She looks like she's enjoying herself so much. And I love how peaceful Max looks. [Stas really is one of the good guys!!]

They seem to be so comfortable, great!
I just appreciate Stanislav more and more and more. From what I have seen in various competitions, he is a really nice guy. He also has to have a good head in his shoulder and a wide heart to realise that Tatiana is over his skating level. Great for Maxim to have a triangle where he seems to feel safe.

I agree mia joy. I've never seen him look so happy. He looks like a little boy in the picture! So nice to finally see him content and happy!

I was there live at the event and remembered that T&M Chicago 20's jazz themed program was zzzzzzzzzzzz. But I'll rewatch it to see what I missed. Thanks.

You are referring to their Cotton Club program, right? I agree, the footwork and some of the transitions (incl. dance lifts) made that program stand out for its time, especially since this was done during the old system!

Same can be said for Peer Gynt that same year. Probably the most ambitious programs they’ve done, ever.

How I hope things work out for them. There is no way they can be bland.
The pairs competition is looking so exciting. Good luck Tatiana and Maxim.
I will have a very hard time choosing between S/S and V/T, but that's abundance of riches.

Nice quote from Maxim's Dad: " It had been a long time since I heard him say " I want to skate more, I want to work more"" ( and now he does)
