It was posted here that their first competition would be a Russian Cup event and then the Russian national championships. The Russian Cup is a series of national competitions through which skaters qualify for their nationals.

I thought Tarasova was like some kind of consultant at the test skates, who gives feedback on everyone...
The SBS spins look fantastic, this early in their pairing together, and loved the spread eagles going into them. Hopefully we're going to have a real treat come December and nationals!I am free of all prejudices. I hate everyone equally.~W. C. Fields

OMG huge thanks for the link!!
could one possibly have more grace as a pair skater than she does? doubt it. I seriously can't take my eyes off her when she skates. I mean, Maxim is an amazing skater as well, but Tatiana is just a rare diamond. I'm soo excited to see them at their full potential! I'm sure it will be mindblowing
but I'm really, really curious to see a throw by them - V/M had like the best throws out there, always so huge and spectacular, I'm wondering if she can have those with Maxim as well.
