Her sponsor, Kookmin Bank ( KB - news - people ), reportedly took out insurance on the $1 million bonus it promised to Kim if she broke her world record score at the Vancouver Olympics. Like her tennis-playing competition for top-paid female athlete, she smashed it.

I wonder where Mao would fall in this list. I don't have any numbers, but it seems she is doing very well with endorsement deals ...... better than any U.S. lady.
