You heard wrong...and aren't rumors supposed to be on a different thread, I thought this thread was for real program information.

I was looking at the ISU bios and some of the ones for Japanese skaters doing the JGP have been updated. I thought it was... interesting

FS: Don Quixote by Leon Minkus

    Sei Kawahara
    Choreographer: Kenji Miyamoto

I also noticed that Kokubun and Tanaka are coached by Utako Nagamitsu (Daisuke's coach), I think this is a new change...

    Kanako Murakami
SP: (aww... I have such a mental block and cannot remember the name of this super famous song, pls help!)

    from 4:40
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ccc86...eature=channel

The news clip mainly focuses on Kanako's ability to dance / move bang on the music.
She's got such a genuine and infectious smile! (And I hope too much media attention and pressure to succeed - post-Mao? - will not affect her in a negative way... )

It could be music from the theme park or exhibits. There are a number of CDs with Disney music that isn't from the movies. One of the teams ( I forget which one) is using music from Disney's Millenium celebration. That CD is wonderful and I was thrilled when I read someone was using it.

It's "Boogie Bumper" by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Kerrs' skated to it for their 2008-2009 OD

YES! That's the one! Thank you!

Gone to check & remind myself of Kerrs' programme. Though a different discipline, Kanako's got a lot to live up to. So much speed and energy throughout!

A good choice of music for Kanako to showcase her strengths in skating skills and speed. I have gotten an impression that the girl can handle choreography while skating with speed. BTW, what is her status with flutz? Are they letting it slip this season?

Isn't Machiko Yamada getting old. She still looks great for her age, however.

Wow. I REALLY need to learn to proofread my posts. I really think they'll be able to pull it off too. I hope they can get to worlds this year.

Maybe. In the original text he said Disneyland. Probably because for many foreigners Disney and Disneyland is one and the same stuff. Or at least almost the same. He didn't mention any details about the program, just said that he liked the music a lot.

ok, we can add info about La Khokh/Andreev FD music (based on the article posted in 'Jana/Fedor - a reality?' thread):
SD: "the music [that] is well known in Russia, but not so famous in the West"
FD: Beatles medley (including 'Oh Darling')

    I'm curious to see both...

no o...I'm not saying thta Fedor shouln't try ice dance. As a metter of fact I think he have a lot of guts to try something new and so hard like ice dance (plus...with a parter like Jana)...kudos for him, buuuuut the other teams on the field are skating together for like...10 years. Its really difficult for me imagine him picking up with her ice dancing skills
