Obertas/Slavnov landed it at 2005 Worlds, but it wasn't too clean:

Dan Zhang & Hao Zhang performed one. I don't remember where or when, though.
Marina Cherkasova & Sergei Shakhrai reportedly did it at the 1977 Europeans but the footage I have starts mid-way through the LP. They tried it at 1978 Europeans and Worlds but bother were under-rotated. However I have this clip which I uploaded a while ago which is from a documentary on soviet skating and shows a fully rotated quad twist which they performed at the 1977/78 USSR Nationals in Vilnius. It's a two-footed catch by him but this is the cleanest one I ever saw them do. It's at 0:43....

Inspiring Mirai Nagasu!
Didn't a pair in the 70's do a quint twist?
It might have been the quad twist I read.. it was a long time ago.
I don't claim to know everything about skating but I feel really certain that no one has ever done a quint ANYTHING!

But it was back when she was tiny.
Just as G&G ditched the quad twist after Katia grew a bit.

^ I also remember this. They were going to get the same marks with a Quad Twist if they executed a perfect easier routine, so they went for the perfect routine since this was the Holy Grail of 6.0 skating.
I found it highly coincidental that they stopped using it when they did.
I believe she did say that, but I don't recall whether it was in her book or whether it was from an interview.
It was also true their quad looked a lot better when she was littler and lighter.
