Why/How does Oda have any sort of preferential treatment or momentum over Kozuka at this point, particularly given what happened to Nobu at Worlds? Nobu and Taka each have a silver from the last 2 GPFs, neither have a senior World medal nor an Olympic medal, Oda only placed 1 spot higher than Kozuka did at the Olympics, and Kozuka has beaten Oda at the past 2 senior World championships. Takahashi's and Kozuka's combined placements from 2010 Worlds is the reason Japan can send 3 men to Worlds next year in their home country.
