Best ever 2 times or more Ladies World Medalist (but no golds and no Olympic medals)?

I wouldn't argue with placing Bonaly 1st in the lp. But whether it should be Bonaly or Chen, the point is it shouldn't have been Baiul.

Between Chen and Bonaly, Chen had better technique on her jumps and much much more complex choreography. Both had poor spins but Chen had a lot more meat and difficulty in her steps. I would probably have Chen edge out Bonaly on the second mark, like so:

Chen 5.7/5.8
Bonaly 5.8/5.5
Baiul 5.6/5.6

I dont really know who I would have put ahead between Bonaly and Chen. I would have been happy with either. Here would have been my scores for both programs though:

Short program:

1. Kerrigan- 5.8 technical, 5.9 artistic
2. Chouinard- 5.8 technical, 5.7 artistic
3. Baiul- 5.6 technical, 5.8 artistic
4. Bonaly- 5.7 technical, 5.6 artistic
5. Chen- 5.5 technical, 5.6 artistic
6. Sato- didnt see, since she did only triple loop combo I understand why she ended up 6th
7. Preston- 5.3 technical, 5.6 artistic
8. Szewcenko- 5.3 technical, 5.4 artistic


Long programs:

Chen 5.7 or 5.8 technical, 5.8 artistic
Bonaly 5.9 technical, 5.7 artistic
3. Kiellmann 5.7 technical, 5.6 artistic
4. Sato 5.5 technical, 5.7 artistic
5. Baiul 5.5 technical, 5.6 artistic
6. Preston 5.6 technical, 5.4 artistic
7. Szewcenko 5.4 technical, 5.5 artistic
8. Kulovana 5.2 technical, 5.6 artistic
9. Kerrigan 5.1 technical, 5.6 artistic

Baiul would have gotten the bronze only because of her short program. Chen and Bonaly were definitely not the best in the short but they were in the long.
