will i struggle going back to professional/coronation ace after using phantoms

what does everyone think? had coronation ace when skated a teenager, but now in 40's. been on phantoms for 2 years, ready for new blades and money a bit tight. really hated phantom initially as rocker felt really rounded and took quite a while to adjust to. only doing single jumps now - so dont need huge toe pick, but does help to get additional weight up on jumps! much heavier now sadly too!

Practically any new blade will feel rounder and more "rocker-y" than blades that have been sharpened a number of times, so you probably won't be able to avoid that. On the bright side, those new round rockers are easier to spin on and will give you more lift on your edge jumps as long as you point your toes on takeoff. You might want to find pictures of the Phantom, Coronation Ace and MK Professional online and overlay them to compare rocker shapes.

Just like any blade switch, it will take some getting used to; however, I don't think there's any reason for you to *need* Phantoms. You should be just fine on an ace/professional.
