    For those of us who follow track & field, this was a HUGE story at the Worlds last year in Berlin.

    It took the IAAF long enough to sort out the mess they created. Fortunately, there's no major global athletics championships this year.
    To think that fun is simple fun, while earnest things are earnest, proves all too plain that neither one thou truthfully discernest.

    Well, there are the World Juniors in Moncton NB (where I was born, but I digress) this year, but the latest word is that she won't be coming to that.

    Not wishing to disparage Moncton NB, but the fact that it is taking place there by definition means it isn't a major global championships.
