I don't know if it's the internet, but something is certainly destroying my brain.

So I'm not as bad as I thought?
    Test 1, 2 blue: 100%
    Test 1, 6 blue: 100%

    Test 2

And here I thought I was rotten through and through, addled with ADD and an overwhelming world!

Distractibility: 92%, no matter if there were 2 blue rectangles or 6

Switching between letter and numbers: 2086 milliseconds to answer
Repeating the same task: 2165 milliseconds to answer
Additional time for switching: - 79 milliseconds
Higher numbers than even low AND high multitaskers!!

I was having trouble remembering what is a vowel and what is a consonant. I haven't been asked that in so long, I sort of forgot LOL

Not distractable, and missed only one on the second (for much the same reason I immoimeme--I was blanking on consonant/vowle and odd/even.) Slower on reacting, I think partially because I am half-asleep and partially because I sometimes don't "see" what's on the left side of screens.

    75% with 2 distracters, 92% with 6 of them...so maybe I'm not a wreck yet ...

Hm. 92% when there were two blue rectangles, and 100% when there were six. Not bad.

What does it say about me when I don't understand the results? On the switching test, my "additional time" is negative (-176 ms).

Welcome to the club! I got - 960 ms on the switching time, at my first attempt .

The second time I took the test, my results fit roughly with the "high multitaskers"

I did much better on the second test (very close to the low multitaskers) when I did it without the TV blaring and the cats running around.

OK, the first time I took the focus test, I scored a 92 and an 89...but I thought the whole first run of 24 and I didn't see some of the examples cause I got bored. I suppose my inability to read directions is an indication that I'm easily distracted I went back and took it for reals, and got 100 for both. I also didn't notice that the blue bars had gone from 2 to 6 until I read the results

The letter/number thing was harder, but I think that has to do with how I process numbers v. letters. It was very easy for me to make snap calls on the numbers because for me even/odd and right/left are easy to map. Since there are only 5 vowels (and what to do if it's a y? ) and they're not in order, I had to think harder about the letters. I also blanked a couple of times when they showed whether to look at number or letter and guessed based on the pattern. Surprisingly, I got all of the answers right, although my time sucked.
Q: Why can't I read the competition threads?
A: Competition forums on the board are available to those with a Season Pass or a premium membership How to View Kiss & Cry
