I'm generally no Mandy Moore fan, but that was lovely all around. Beautiful dance and great job by both AdeChike and Allison.

That was pretty from Adechike and Allison. I really enjoyed it but I'm not sure I'll remember it in an hour. I'm so glad to have Allison back. She was so robbed in season 2.

Yeah, she's brilliant and she's really grown since her initial appearance on the show.

    Adechike has beautiful eyes.

Dancing with Allison and Mandy Moore.

No storyline, just emotions- in love dance. Neat to see Mandy working with him.

Listen to Your Heart- acousticy remix

I adore Allison. She glowed out there, but she brought him in to it. He brought it up -way up. Great lines at times. This was joyful and pretty.

Nigel agrees with me. But they all want him to keep improving.

    Adechike & Allison - contemporary

Adechike moved very well, Nigel says lots of improvement, but still comments on Aechike's ability to show the emotion. Mia says he needs to tap into his joy more consistently and that his "small, internal movements are gorgeous". She reminds him dance isn't just an artform it's a "heart form" Adam also saying he's thinking through it too much and focusing on the steps.

Adam also says it was a tremendous routine and Adechike danced it beautifully.

For me, this dance had some odd moves (blame the choreographer), but I thought he did much better than last week.

The Taylor Dane version is on mine, I'm just referencing the fact that the overwhelming majority of Mandy's music choices are from the 80s

I wish Billy or Robert had gotten that routine. I didn't really see the growth in Adechike's performance quality...I felt like Mia's evaluation was pretty much right on.

Oh Lord, Alex and Mischa Chen doing a Fosse-Inspired Tyce routine (with "his flavor") .

    ....With hats, no less.

    "Summertime" by Sylvester

It should be illegal for a guy to be able to kick that high

Music was atrocious.......Alex absolutely schooled Lauren in that.

    ETA:

Nigel: You danced with your shoulders up a bit; then added the "needs more personality" shpiel and needs to work on changing genres.

Mia: Fosse is internal and gives some weird sound effect. Physical perfection but she wanted it to be more sinewy; it's not all about the tricks and the power. Loves the costumes, but calls them Winter, not Summer

Adam: It's not about ability, but versatility. Was a bit of the antithesis of Fosse. Was all at one level.

Alex and Lauren- he started as a tap dancer.

He hated ballet- cute bored kid stuff.

Bob Fosse by Tyce. Oh dear.
    Hats. Lauren. Oh dear.

    Summertime- Sylvester
That didn't have the personality it needed. I don't know how much my expectations made me dislike this.

Judges look kind of hesitant beginning their critique. But Nigel didn't like it.

eta- Mia saying he has amazing technical ability but didn't bring the internal sinuousness that Fosse needs. Adam says a lot of flash and no smoulder.

I know nothing about dance except what I like and my unschooled impressions, but that is what my comment about personality meant too.

    Lauren's pants are HAWT

I enjoyed that a lot . The arrangement was good, and I don't care what Nigel says, I thought Alex was great. He had to be to make me enjoy Tyce Diorio. Lauren was even tolerable.
