Has any skater ever performed.... [insert move, skill, etc]

Similar to many of you here on this board, I sometimes design and think about skating programs in my head. Do you all ever imagine moves that you haven't seen before that you hope skaters will perform?

I love leaps in figure skating such as Michelle Kwan's falling leaf, as well as leaps in gymnastics, ballet, and rhythmic gymnastics. I was wondering whether there were any figure skaters who've done variations of falling splits such as something that looks like: http://gymnasticscoaching.com/new/wp...astia-leap.jpg, http://www.blogcdn.com/www.fanhouse....bessonova2.jpg, or a tour jete on ice. Anyone?

The only one I can think of that has come close to those split jumps you posted would be Sasha Cohen in her redone 2004 long program (at the 1:45 mark):

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2s-lm0mhbM

She achieves the stag over-split position without throwing the head back.

Thanks! I'd love for a skater to throw the head back on a leap... maybe not with the stag position because they might hit their skates on their head! But I think this would look absolutely gorgeous on the ice! http://www.gymbits.com/wp-content/up...9-yang-bo1.jpg and http://www.gymchat.com/media/uploads...6856_e0b1c.jpg

If by tour jete you mean this, I don't think anyone has done it.

It looks more like she couldn't straighten the other leg rather than trying for the stag over-split position.

Not new, but so well done at about the minute mark.

I also loved John Misha Petkevich. He had such high jumps that he was able to do all kinds of interesting things in the air. I need to find some clips.

Did Rory Flack do any? She's the one who comes to mind when I think of huge positional jumps.

A double axel-triple LOOP (2a-3lo) combination. Anna Ovcharova of Russia apparently does that combination, but there's no videos of her doing it yet. I don't think I can remember anyone doing that combination, anyone know if I'm wrong? Maybe Miki did it a long time ago?

Didn't Midori Ito do that combo in the late 80's?

I loved Midori's LBO rocker into a double Axel. Looked like a Lutz, but surprise--Axel!

Any videos? I really want to see this combination attempted, I imagine it would look cool. I hope Anna does it in her programs next year, that would be neat.

And as for Midori 2a-3s sequence, I'm not talking about a sequence like 2a and then steps or 3 turns into a 3lo, I mean a for real combination.

Joey Russell did it at the 2009 nationals LP:

Alexander Abt did a TRIPLE Axel/triple loop in the short program(?) I believe at a Grand Prix event in 98/99, but I vaguely remember seeing the clip and thinking it wasn't a clean combination. I might be wrong though. Also, Jayson Denommee from Canada landed one during a Nationals short program (again IIRC). Never saw that clip so I don't know how good of an attempt it was.

ETA: For Abt, it was the 1998 Nations Cup long program. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqxQ6lzb-4I It looked pretty clean to me, actually!

I don't think anyone else has ever performed ANYTHING in this program that was posted on another thread not long ago. Really interesting.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iJLlBn8-pE

I used to wonder whether a "one person death spiral," with the person leaning on the ice with one arm, was possible until I saw Victor Kraatz do something like that in the exhibition practice at 2003 Worlds.

A hydroblade that curled on a really deep curve and eventually came into such a tight circle that the skater ended up doing a back sit spin would be really cool.

The spin entry at 2:15 in this program is pretty cool:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwFNlv_nNp0

Another thing that would be amazing is a huge throw flying sit spin done by a pair team.
