    I went to today's show.
    My random impressions;

Mao was stunning. The program may lack the excitement of Caprice, but with serene beauty. Today the jumps looked perfect, too. When the performance ended, I was almost in tears.

It was amazing to watch Daisuke moving like Stephan. The program was certainly Stephan like, but I love it. His spin was obviously improved, too. I look forward to seeing this program again.

Miki... I was surprised to watch yet another program. She skated to Aranjuez? with French vocal. The costume was black, a little alike her Carmen costume. She became such a performer.

I will add some when I can.

I went to today's show again and here're some things add to the previous reports:

Tatsuki Machida is really wonderful. We need five men slots for the Worlds, really. (Dai, Oda, Kozuka, Hanyu, Machida)

Shoma Uno does amazing cantilever. He looks like a 6 years old and performs like a 18 yo.

Yukiko Fujisawa can act. Her chimney sweeper performance was convincing.

Kento Nakamura's jumps were still out for lunch but he can dance.

Takahiko Kozuka performed a step sequence in the opening and it reminds me of Kurt Browning. Does that imply something??

Today Miki skated to Aranjuez with a heavy rhythm section.

After the today's finale, the skaters came back to the ice with 3D-TV glasses on They must have been watching the 3D recorded video of the show in the back stage.

I need to find a way to watch the broadcast in 3D!!

Sorry, I cannot think of the name of it - something about love - [I'm not really into pop music].

It was said at Miki's fan forum that Miki skated to Concierto de Aranjuez in the last show!

    [/QUOTE]

Then she must have 3 numbers! Maybe she skated a different program in every show.

The thing with Plushy is he already has had a few surgeries on his knees. So there's obviously a wear factor. It's all about preserving his body the best he can and also remaining even-keeled enough so that he won't suffer from burn out when Sochi does come around. Did he even officially say he's gonna stick around til then? And competing at nationals or europeans alone would present him only a portion of the spectrum of the skating world. I think the best bet for him is to enter in the GP series so he can get used to competing against skaters from all over the world.
The first part of the post is what I was thinking. And in the interview I quoted below this he said he will try. That is not officially saying he will but that he will try.

I didn't know what to expect when they got to the Plushenko part-but for the interview with the japanese media he decided to speak in English so that was good! He said he tried a quad salchow a few weeks aqo.

Looking at the program again, even though I think the music is gorgeous and Mao is beautiful in it, I think Tarasova could have done a better job picking up the nuances of the music. Some of the choreography looks recycled from Bells of Moscow. I still enjoy the program though.

As for the TV program broadcasted in June 27th JST, the performance of Yuzuru Hanyu was not broadcasted because the broadcasting time was only one hour, including many CM. Somebody may upload it then, because it seems to be broadcasted two hours in satellite TV broadcasting in July 11th (JST).

I hear that after the show in June 27th (JST), the fan meeting with players who wore "Yukata" or "Japanese traditional casual wear in summer" was held in Shin-Yokohama Skate Center.
I hear that the meeting was held in a banquet hall in Shin-Yokohama Prince Hotel and Plushenko, Lambiel, Lepisto, Cathy and Chris participated, answered to various questions, shook hands with lottery winner in fans and took photo together.
Plushenko and Lambiel seem to have danced with an ad-lib movement to the back ground music of the time for shaking hands with fans.

Shin-Yokohama Skate Center is the facility of Shin-Yokohma Prince Hotel, but it seems to take about 7 minutes to walk from the rink to the hotel.

I hear that they performed the exhibition program, "Meditation de Thais" with white costume.
I hear that there were many complicated lifts and there was an impression and it was beautiful.
