aren't you pushing it too far? she won the SILVER. Many skaters would have get themselves killed for such a success. Wouldnt' exactly call it "crushed hopes". She fought for gold beautifully, won the OSM and did some clean triple axels, you call this crushed hopes?

I mean, her "comeback" (from where? lol, she didn't go anywhere for me ) was stunning indeed, but I'm sure she's happy with her Olys silver as well.

Be that as it may, Mao looked totally devastated on the Olympic podium, so it was nice to see her end her season on a high note.

Plushenko short at Rostelecom cup, Van der Perrin at worlds long program, DomShabs Double life of Veronique at the olympics, Seeing Adrian Schultheiss do his mental patient program with added quad-Schultheiss was the only skater in the world to successfully add a quad to his program in 2009 /2010.

- Pang/Tong's O's LP. From the very first note they skated the entire program like it was the last 10 seconds of a clean performance - so much 'oomph' throughout.
- Shen/Zhao getting the gold
- Evan winning based on skill, opposed to a skater winning based on reputation
- Kevin Reynolds - though I don't like his skating, he made a great Worlds debut
- Joannie's class and strength at the O's
- Yu Na kicking ass at the O's
- Adrian Schultheiss - dude skated to Insane in the Brain and Smack My Bitch Up at the O's while wearing a straight jacket costume. Does it get any more awesome than that?

OMG, I have no idea how I could have forgotten about it!!! my absolute fav FS of the entire season!!! I mean, he was a rockstar in it

I hate it that she dyed her hair blond. She now looks like an imitation of Kiira Korpi. Why do the skaters have to bleech their hair like that? I mean, blond is fine, but too blond is too much

Worlds '10: the low-point, high drama battle for ladies bronze. Lepisto, Phaneuf both do well & getting their due, at last.

Lepisto's FS at worlds was a disaster, a bunch of double jumps plus her always annoying wooden style. I still cannot believe she can now call herself a world medalist... I mean, she's been like one of the most overrated skaters these days.

How did I forget that? I loved Ryan's long program. Too bad he didn't make the Olympic team, but at least he ended what is likely his last nationals on a good note.
