Caroline's come-back at 4CC after getting crushed all season.
Johnny's hat made of roses.
Jeremy's second win at Nationals.
aren't you pushing it too far? she won the SILVER. Many skaters would have get themselves killed for such a success. Wouldnt' exactly call it "crushed hopes". She fought for gold beautifully, won the OSM and did some clean triple axels, you call this crushed hopes?
If you wanna see skaters with their hopes crushed, go say hello to Joubert and Verner.
I mean, her "comeback" (from where? lol, she didn't go anywhere for me) was stunning indeed, but I'm sure she's happy with her Olys silver as well.

Daisuke medalling at Olys and winning Worlds.
Brian medalling at Worlds and saying he will continue.
Pang/Tong medalling at Olys (despite them being ridiculously undermarked in the SP. They should have won overall!)

Stop, don't say that it's impossible, cause I know it's possible...
Joubert worlds short program success is at the top of my list.
Also Mao's world long program. Plushenko short at Rostelecom cup, Van der Perrin at worlds long program, DomShabs Double life of Veronique at the olympics, Seeing Adrian Schultheiss do his mental patient program with added quad-Schultheiss was the only skater in the world to successfully add a quad to his program in 2009 /2010.
- the Frank Carroll & Mirai Nagasu banter, all season long. Hilarious
- Swedish Schultheiss crazy on ice "Asylum" FS
- Elena Glebova: blonde, glam, glitter for hometown Euros
- Johnny Weir's Olympic cool, when it counted
- Stephane Lambiel's Vancouver SP.
- Rochette. Now even non-skate fans love her as much as Canada does
- new USA pair w/Amanda Dobbs & her singles skate at nationals: nice double play.
- Worlds '10: the low-point, high drama battle for ladies bronze. Lepisto, Phaneuf both do well & getting their due, at last.
V&M winning Oly Gold
Rochette's SP

"This, after all, is opera, opera in New York, not some dainty pastime like professional hockey..." -- Chip Brown, NYT Magazine 24 Mar 13
- Virtue/Moir at the O's. Wow.
- Pang/Tong's O's LP. From the very first note they skated the entire program like it was the last 10 seconds of a clean performance - so much 'oomph' throughout.
- Shen/Zhao getting the gold
- Evan winning based on skill, opposed to a skater winning based on reputation
- Kevin Reynolds - though I don't like his skating, he made a great Worlds debut
- Joannie's class and strength at the O's
- Yu Na kicking ass at the O's
- Adrian Schultheiss - dude skated to Insane in the Brain and Smack My Bitch Up at the O's while wearing a straight jacket costume. Does it get any more awesome than that?
- Cheltzie Lee - amazing breakthrough
Skating Moments:
Abbott's flawless SP and FS at Nationals
Mirai's FS at Olys and SP at Worlds
Adrian Schultheiss' FS at Worlds - Wheeeee for the Voidy Swede
Davis/White's OD at Worlds, FD at Olys and Worlds, OD and FD at Nationals

Ilnykh/Katsalapov's FD
Shen/Zhao's SP and FS at Skate America
Joannie Rochette's SP at Olys
Samuelson/Bates' OD at Olys
Evan Lysacek's FS at Olys
Cheltzie Lee's performance at the Olys
Domnina/Shabalin's CD at Olys

The total "WTF" reaction of the Vancouver audience at DomShab's OD
Having a different country win Gold in each discipline at the Olympics
The roar of support for Joannie before she even took the ice for her SP in Vancouver
This moment (Laura and her coach Virpi)![]()
Ryan Bradley's LP at US Nationals...![]()
Nubka - Unpaid Slave Laborer...
OMG, I have no idea how I could have forgotten about it!!! my absolute fav FS of the entire season!!! I mean, he was a rockstar in it
I hate it that she dyed her hair blond. She now looks like an imitation of Kiira Korpi. Why do the skaters have to bleech their hair like that? I mean, blond is fine, but too blond is too much
Lepisto's FS at worlds was a disaster, a bunch of double jumps plus her always annoying wooden style. I still cannot believe she can now call herself a world medalist...I mean, she's been like one of the most overrated skaters these days.
