Nothing official yet, but the Top 10 in Novice U13 are

    1.Prölß
    2.Bock
    3.Schott
    4.Schmidt
    5.Dastich
    6.Scheidt
    7.Hase
    8.Grallert
    9.Hauer
    10.Thiele

Top 3 are said to have scored over 80 which should mean they have met the required score of 80+ for 11 year olds.

We are tracking some of the newbies here http://www.eiskunstlauf-ecke-forum.d...hp?f=31&t=4677
Only skaters with 2A and / or 3jumps are added to this list ... nothing like 10 year olds who do beautiful 2A to make your day
We will update the lists after the Gerlin Results are online

Great, Gierok/Just first! Do Vartmann/Van Cleave use the same program as Vartmann/Just had in the season 08/09? One of the photos here http://www.eislauffotos.de looks like that (go to Saison 2010/2011 and click Großer Berliner Bär-Paare)

I think ist is only the same costume... just as Girok/ Just have the music Katharina used for her singles short program last year. She is also wearing her costume from last year.
Saw them in Berlin points were far too high, seems as if they are to be boosted into the national squad, as Just would have to drop by December if he doesn`t show a certain level of points.

did you see them skate? how is Katharina getting on learning all the pairs elements?
I wonder if both teams will do an ISU event before Nationals.

We've updated our team envelop criteria tracker for singles - the minimum score has to be reached twice

    Ladies http://www.eiskunstlauf-ecke-forum.d...hp?f=31&t=4640
    Men http://www.eiskunstlauf-ecke-forum.d...hp?f=31&t=4645

I take it Zhiganshina / Gaszi have the tickets to Euros pretty much booked.

Well to be honest everybody always thought she would be an ideal pair skater.
She learns very slowly. They have been training together since the beginning of the year and should be able to do far more.
The program they show isn`t of Senior level , but is a Junior program. To my mind both pairs from Dortmund have absolutely no perspective. For Just, Gierok only is his wild card to stay with the army, his time as a skater is definately over.
Vartmann / Van Cleave. Maris problem is her inconsistency. She has nice lines and Aaron if one compares his videos from the time he skated with Ameena Sheikh as shown on the german figure skating website, has had a melt down since he has been training in Germany. I am dissapointed as I thought they would be able to get together and have a chance. Mari always needed a stronger partner, but it seems as if it is not working out
Problem both pairs have lies with their coach and his approach to to training.
If a coach has the wrong attitude towards working hard it is of no wonder

Read somewhere that Gierok / Just aren`t going to skate in Dortmund...
I don`t know where they are going to skate, internationally before the nationals....

Well, as for someone never done pairs before it is a good start, but I can't say how fast a skater must learn pairs elements. AND you forgot her injury that took her out for at least 6-8 weeks.

For Just, Gierok only is his wild card to stay with the army,
Do you know him personally to know what his attitude is to still do pairs skating? If not you shouldn't say things that are wrong.

Well LLOS just have a loook at Gerboldt/ Enbert from RUS or Marley/ Brubaker...all girls who started to skate in Summer and then compare.... even if she was out for injury.
Maybe they should consider moving to Oberstdorf or Chemnitz, maybe they would have greater chances of succeeding with coaches who have a different attitude towards work.

i totally agree, injury or no injury, the girl (gierok) was a single skate before. i would not lament on the pairs element but even her side by side jumps aren´t consistent, she landed just double jumps.
sorry, but that´s not more than junior level and even there, not the best.

as i saw one of the first training videos of vartmann/van cleave, i thought, he might be the right match for her. the throws looked amazing and now, evene double throws and the old problem with her side by side jumps.

i think, the german fedaration should concentrate on s/s and a well improving hausch/wende and despite these pairs, should encourage the younger teams.

I ask once again - maybe someone knows more now! Are there any news about Pylkina/Liebers?
Was it just a try out or are they still training together?

I hear Wenzig / Landgraf are doing really well and will be age eligible to skate juniors starting next season ... guess Monika Scheibe still is on top of her game

Wenzig / Landgraf could be promising, but then they too only skated a program in Berlin with novice quality. No DA no triple throws. Programs always look nice if they are skated clean, but internationally they have to show more.
