Caroline had knee surgery and Daniel groin surgery. So I guess we won't be seeing them at all this season

I think Daddy Dieck might try to get 2 und 3 reversed and the German judges often place 4 ahead of 5 ... but I think you got the Junior Teams in the correct order!

For Seniors 1 is out of question but 2 and 3 is between Frohberg / Giesen and Kolbe / Caruso and I have know idea how the judges will call this one.

With Mari, it is the old problem like with her former Partner Florian, she is doing well in practice but in competition she crashes, her partner is doing well-ok. BUT Gierok/Just are very stable, they can bring their practice results in competition. So, it might be not as open as it seems...just what I observed...

With Hermanns, it's their worst season with health problems but they will be back next season for sure!

I'd say Gierok / Just have slight advantage going into Nationals, but I guess we will know in January which Team gets the 3rd Euros Tickets or if only Savchenko / Szolkowy and Hausch / Wende get to go.
I'm surprised because it looked completely opposite at Warsaw Cup.

    Hopefully both teams keep developing.

And DEU better not leave the 3rd spot empty.

I wish there were a tag that could be given to skaters for their skates so that they could gate check them. It would be much better, don't you think?

Here's a link to an interview with Ingo Steuer taken in Paris, had previously posted it in a separate thread but probably makes sense to put in here:

Dytrt is still on the entires, nice to hear. i will be very excited if she appears and how she skates.

good for frohberg/gießen that there´s no junior team competing on senior level, otherwise they could be thrown off the podium.

Junior Dance at this weekends Nationals is the second qualifier for Junior Worlds. so skating at the senior level would mean 1. no chance at a spot at junior worlds and 2. placing last at Senior Nationals

Rumors are that Frohberg / Giesen are not coached by Rene Lohse anymore can anybody confirm?

A bad season is not necessarily the fault of the coach

Annette Dytrt is out of the Nationals, she is no longer in the entries.

does anyone knows something exactly? is there a chance to see her ever in competetion again?

it´s no surprise, that she is out of competiton, since there was no ability to qualify for europeans or worlds anymore. but i just hoped she would have the ambition to challenge and bother hecken

Annette Dytrt has been struggeling with a back injury for months now and couldn't really train. I think a comeback would depend on her health, but it becomes more and more unlikely, unfortunately.

    2. streubel
    3. dotzauer

    ladies
    1. hecken
    2. paulinus
    3. drescher (much more wish than real expectation, but let´s see)

    pairs
    1. savchenko/szolkowy
    2. hausch/wende
    3. gierok/just

    ice dance
    1. zhiganshina/gaszi
    2. kolbe/caruos
    3. frohberg/gießen
