    Maya Usova is mom

Arthur Werner in his web has said that Maya has been mother of a girl; called Anastasia.

Одна из лучших танцовщиц своего времени, моя давняя любовь Майя Усова родила дочку, которую её муж и она назвали Анастасией. И это в 46 лет! Молодец, Майечка!
    Congratulations to the happy parents

    From Babelfish:
One of the best dancers of its time, my old love of Usov's [Mayya] bore the daughter, whom its husband and it named [Anastasiey]. And this into 46 years! Fine person, [Mayechka]!

Congratulations to them! Anastasia is a beautiful name.

I confess I read the title as "Maya Usova is mean" at first, and thought, "Is this off season EVER going to end?"

Arthur Werner’s words: One of the best (ice) dancers of her times, my old love, Maya Usova, gave birth to a daugher, who was imediately named Anastasiya by Maya’s husband. And she (Maya) is 46 years old! Good-going, Maya!

And someone once said, of Maya Usova, "No gold medal, no husband, no baby." The implication being not having the second two was worse. Guess someone spoke too soon.

Maya Usova is 46 years old. That makes me feel so old - she and Alexander Zhulin were one of my favorite dance teams when I really became a fan of the sport.

    Congratulations.

PML, I was just about to post "Congratulations (in rude and eville ways)" too.

Congratulations to Usova and her husband.

    She's my favorite female skater.

What a coincidence, I was just wondering about Maya today and wondering what she's doing now.
    Congratulations to Maya!

    Too funny Jayar.
